Our aim with creating Emilie O'Connor Homestore is building an eco friendly homewares brand that uses design to contribute back to the environment. Enabling us to live more consciously and with a lighter impact on the natural world.
All homeware designs start out as sketches and are layered into artwork ready for making into prints. To make the art work Emilie uses coloured pencils, paints, pencils, black pens anything to hand! She loves drawing out in nature but also uses found images to inspire her work.
Emilie's designs are for sparking conversation and action to protect the oceans and endangered animals.
Through sales we donate some of our profit to Surfers against Sewage, who do valuable work changing policy and protecting our oceans.
